Makkah

1. Masjid Al-Haram (The Sacred Mosque): it's the largest mosque in the world. It is located in the city of Mecca. It surrounds the Kaaba (the place which Muslims face while offering daily prayers). It is considered the holiest place on Earth by Muslims. The mosque is also known as theGrand Mosque. This mosque has nine minarets. Like Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina, it also has undergone many renovations and expansions. The latest expansion was during King Fahd's reign. Further expansion also has already been planned by the current ruler, King Abdullah.

2.Hira Cave : is a cave about 2 mi (3.2 km) from Mecca, on the mountain named Jabal Al-Nūr in the Hejaz region of present day Saudi Arabia. The cave itself is about 12 ft (3.7 m) in length and 5 ft 3 in (1.60 m) in width.
It is notable for being the location where Muslims believe Muhammad received his first revelations from God  through the angel Jibreel, also known as the angel Gabriel to Christians.

3. Laurel Thor: is located south of Mecca. Been linked to the migration of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Laurel, who is his income when the Prophet emigrated to Medina and Abu Bakr,Muhammad's enemies came searching for them, did not find them because the spider  fill the cave's entrance.
